Requirements
Each of our Care Companions must:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Pass a comprehensive background check
- Pass a drug test
- Have prior caregiving experience
- Pass the Carefluent Assessment
Next Steps
Upon hire, Care Companions will:
- Create a full profile on the Carefluent platform
- Be presented to Careseekers for match
- Choose a match with a compatible Careseeker
- Begin providing in-home services
- Continue professional development with the Carefluent Academy

- Hourly pay: Most Care Companions earn $20+/hour.
- Higher pay for in-demand skills: Foreign language fluency, certifications, and other in-demand skills increase earning potential.
- Bonuses: Carefluent awards bonuses to Care Companions who consistently maintain high ratings (an extra incentive to provide top-notch care).
- Flexible schedule: To encourage healthy work-life balance, hours, availability, and earnings are controlled by the Care Companions.
- Paid training: Carefluent offers periodic paid training to ensure in-home care skills remain up to date.
